Salad was wonderful with great gorgonzola vinaigrette. Beans and greens appetizer was good. Allow plenty of time because the service is SLOW. We had reservations and were seated around 6:00. Appetizer was served at 6:46 and bread about 10 minutes later. Salads were served at 7:15. During all this wait time no explanation was offered. I hope they can improve their service.

Go there now! It's a gem on the Penn Hills/Plum border. At Gia Visto, we thoroughly enjoyed the Crispy Eggplant Parmagiana, Build Your Own Pasta Gnocchi with tomato basil sauce and Pappardelle & Shrimp. The accompanying ceasar salads and ciabatta were fresh and yummy. And the lemon cake and berry crisp were a perfect and not too sweet ending. Kudos to Jill the owner! It was a delicious and intimate dining delight!

We love everything about this place! Yes, it is a small and intimate setting and has very limited hours, but if you plan ahead, it is so wonderful! The food is great. We love the beans n greens appetizer, the kale salad, the baked fish and the lamb bolognese. Our friends also love it and have their favorite dishes as well. The bread is hot and fresh and the wedding soup is yummy. A hidden gem with a relaxing atmosphere as well. Highly recommend you try it!
